WARDRUNA TO TOUR FINLAND IN NOVEMBER 2025

Hailing from the deep woods of Norway, the music constellation WARDRUNA combines a modern soundscape with ancient accents. Caught between myths, the dialogue with nature and traditions of the North, the combo fascinates their listeners like no other of their genre.

In November 2025 WARDRUNA brings their unique sound finally back to Finland.

The “World Tour 2025 – Part II” will lead them to Finlandia-talo, Helsinki on November 21st followed up by Lahti’s Sibeliustalo on November 22nd and Tampere’s Tampere-Talo on November 23rd.

WARDRUNA draws inspiration from immersion in nature. While research and serious study form an important foundation for their music, the focus is fixed on sowing new seeds rather than recitation. In combination with not only traditional and historical Nordic instruments but also other sources of sound such as trees, stones, bones, water and fire, WARDRUNA creates new music which builds on the contemporary as well as the ancient.

With their sixth studio album “Birna”, released in January 2025, main composer Einar Selvik has been searching for the voice of the bear, the lost sister of the forest.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, 21.2.2025 at 11:00 EET.

21.11.2025 Finlandia-talo, Helsinki. The duration of the concert is some 1h 45min. No intermission.
