Presidents with statues
Anna Aunola, a citizen who studies her surroundings with a cell phone camera, has put together an exhibition at the Finlandia Galleria of photos she took of the official monuments of the presidents of the republic. There are memorials to nine presidents in important places in the capital. In addition to the official monuments, the collection also included a picture of the virtual monument of the late president Martti Ahtisaari in autumn 2023.
In January 2024, we will elect a new president of the Republic of Finland. The right to vote deserves to be used honorably.
