Welcome to Finlandia Hall on Saturday 22 February, when the hall opens its doors again for an open and fun-filled day at 11.00–17.00! The new Finlandia Cafe & Wine café and design shop are open 22.2.2025 11-17. You can shop deliciously and enjoy the uniquely iconic surroundings. Programme for all ages:
Children’s programme: 11:00 – 14:00 Skidi party at Finlandia Hall
The children’s programme includes a sock factory, a memory game tournament and the amazing Sock Disco to end the day. Design your own socks at Sukkatehdas and take part in the unprecedented Finlandia memory game tournament.
Finlandia Bistro: from 11:00
Finlandia Bistro opens its doors early at 11:00 AM, offering a delicious lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Afterward, starting at 3:00 PM, you can indulge in our beloved à la carte menu. Come enjoy the great flavors and warm atmosphere!
12:00 – 13:00 Piazza:
Päistikkä DUO – an energetic performance combining vocals, ukulele, samples, guitar and trumpet.
From 13:00 – Sock Disco:
Enjoy the cosy disco spirit like at a house party! DJ Hapan Korppu plays hits from the kitchen counter, and the washing machine chatters in the middle of the piazza.
Please note that the Piazza is not fully accessible. Strollers must be left in the lower lobby and strollers are not accessible to the Piazza.

THE MAGIC OF AINO’S AND ALVAR’S PICTURES
Heikki Aalto-Alanen opens his family’s home album. Through the images, the story of the Finlandia Hall exhibition is opened together with screenwriter Kirsti Manninen and Heikki Aalto-Alanen.

Conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste recalls what Finlandia Hall was like from a conductor’s point of view. Memories and moments from a time when the orchestras’ home base was Finlandia Hall.

Start your evening at Finlandia Cafe&Wine wine bar or finish it off with dinner at Finlandia Bistro. We offer local food, seasonal flavors, and wonderful wines, always with a relaxed atmosphere. Discover Finlandia Bistro.
We take care of your belongings so that you can focus on enjoying the experience. During concerts and events, you can leave your coat in the cloakroom for a fee. When visiting the Finlandia exhibition, you can store your bag in a lockable locker. Locker storage is free of charge. Coat check service €4, available at concerts, but not every day.
