UTOPIA
6G Group’s Poster Exhibition in Finlandia Gallery, Little Finlandia 1.11.- 31.12.2024
Do we have the courage to present utopias – positive visions for the future? Utopia is often understood as a situation or a society that is better than the present, even perfect. Utopias create and maintain hope for the future. A number of studies argue that hope is key resource both for enabling change in the world and in our lives. Perhaps creating visions of utopias is radical? Only what we can imagine, can come true.
6G is an independent group of designers working on topical issues through poster art. 6G exhibitions are held since 1999, and have involved over a hundred designers.
In 2024, participating designers are Ilona Ilottu, Jutta Kivilompolo, Anssi Kähärä, Esa Ojala, Juha Pohjola, Antti Porkka, Marina Veziko and Eija Vierimaa.
Exhibition is open between 1.11.-31.12.2024 in Finlandia Gallery (Finladia Cafe & Wine), address Little Finlandia, Karamzininranta 4, 00100 Helsinki.
